Privacy policy

Last updated: 10 September 2026.

Data controller: Eduardo Caparrós Capilla, trading as Osia Legal, of Calle Molinos 64, 4C, 18009 Granada, Spain. For any questions about your data, please email [email protected].

Enquiries and requests for services

We process the name, email address, optional phone number, message and record of acknowledgement of this policy that you provide to respond to your enquiry and, when requested, take steps towards a possible professional engagement. Required fields are necessary to process the form; providing a phone number is optional. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request when you enquire about our services (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); for other enquiries, it is our legitimate interest in responding to communications received (Article 6(1)(f)). If you engage our services, you will receive information about the processing of your case data.

The form is submitted through Formspree, Inc., a provider that receives and processes the data to deliver your enquiry to the firm and may also process technical request information for service security. Please see its privacy policy. Please provide an initial outline only and avoid including health data, criminal records or other particularly sensitive information about yourself or others; we will agree a suitable channel if such information is needed.

Legal newsletter

We use your email address and the record of your request and consent to manage subscriptions, send the newsletter and process unsubscribe requests through Brevo, whose form is hosted on sibforms.com. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you request a subscription. If you receive a confirmation email, you must follow its instructions to complete your subscription.

You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by writing to [email protected]. Unsubscribing does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Subscribing does not require you to accept analytics or marketing cookies, and accepting them does not subscribe you to the newsletter. For more information, see the Brevo privacy policy.

Browsing and technical providers

Hosting and delivering website resources involves processing your IP address and technical connection data. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts and certain libraries from jsDelivr. The purpose is to display and operate the site, based on our legitimate interest in providing a functional, secure website.

The website integrates Google Tag Manager to manage tags. Loading it sends technical request data to Google. Please see the Google privacy policy.

Browsing statistics with Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand visits and improve our website content. The direct integration loads when you accept the Analytics category in the cookie panel. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw through Manage cookies.

The service processes browser identifiers, pages viewed, session data, referral sources, approximate location, and device and browser information. Google receives technical connection data when providing the service. Learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Recipients and international transfers

Form, newsletter, hosting and technical resource providers may access the data needed to provide their services. Data may also be disclosed to authorities where required by law. Provider access is distinct from selling data.

Formspree reports that it processes data in the United States. Google services and other providers’ subprocessors may also involve processing outside the European Economic Area. These transfers require an applicable adequacy decision or safeguards under Article 46 GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses and any necessary supplementary measures. You may request information about the safeguards applicable to your data by contacting the controller.

Retention

Enquiries are retained while they are being handled and followed up. If they lead to a professional engagement, the relevant case retention periods and legal obligations apply. Newsletter data is retained while you remain subscribed; after you unsubscribe, retention is limited to information needed to demonstrate consent, honour your unsubscribe request and address potential liabilities within the applicable limitation periods. Data that must be retained for legal obligations or liabilities will be blocked from further use where applicable.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw your consent by contacting [email protected]. Please state your request and provide the information needed to identify you; further information will only be requested if there are reasonable doubts about your identity.

You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency. The forms described here do not make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Cookie policy

Last updated: 10 September 2026.

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This policy also covers local and session storage technologies. Optional technologies require your consent; declining does not prevent you from browsing the website or requesting the newsletter.

First-party storage

osia-cookie-consent · Osia Legal · localStorage: remembers your chosen categories and the date of your choice. It is not used to measure visits. This storage currently has no automatic expiry and remains until you clear it in your browser or replace it by changing your preferences.

osia-pre · Osia Legal · sessionStorage: remembers whether the introductory animation has already been shown during the tab session. It is deleted when the tab session ends and is not used for analytics or advertising tracking.

Google Tag Manager and analytics

Google Tag Manager is integrated to allow other tags to be loaded. Its container is requested when the page opens, before you make a choice in the banner. Tag Manager itself is not Google Analytics: additional cookies and processing depend on the tags published in its container.

Google Analytics 4 is configured in the site’s direct integration. Its analytics cookies are used with your consent: _ga distinguishes visitors and _ga_* maintains session state. They are stored on the visited domain and used by Google Analytics. Their default expiry is two years, although browsers may limit their actual lifespan and service settings may change it. See Google’s information about these cookies.

Cookie lifespan differs from the retention period for data in Analytics. The latter depends on the property settings and report type; you can request information about the applicable period by emailing [email protected]. See Google’s information about data retention.

This inventory does not establish which tags are published in the Tag Manager container. Its configuration must be checked to identify the actual cookies, their retention periods and whether optional technologies are blocked before consent.

Brevo and the newsletter

The form sends your request to Brevo when you submit it. The site code has no Brevo tracker configured, so visitor_id is not identified as an active cookie of this integration. Managing subscriptions and sending the newsletter are independent of permission to track browsing. Enabling additional tracking requires updated information and the appropriate consent.

External resources and links

Google Fonts and jsDelivr receive technical data when fonts and libraries are downloaded. The site’s own code does not use these resources to store tracking identifiers. Formspree or Brevo is involved when you submit a form, depending on the form. If you visit an external page, such as LinkedIn or a provider’s confirmation page, its own privacy and cookie terms apply.

Managing your choice

The banner lets you accept, reject or select optional categories. You can reopen it using the Manage cookiesbutton. Your panel choices apply to the site’s direct integrations; control of tags published in Google Tag Manager also depends on that service’s configuration.

You can delete cookies and stored data through your browser’s privacy settings. Clearing this site’s data also removes your saved preference, so the banner will appear again. Withdrawing permission does not invalidate earlier processing or unsubscribe you from the newsletter. To exercise your rights regarding data already collected, please see the privacy policy.
